MedKinetics Awarded Department of Veterans Affairs Contract for Hospital Privilege Tools

August 14, 2009 - Franklin, TN Medkinetics, LLC, a leader in web based credentialing; privileging and quality improvement software is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to supply its privileging product to the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs for use by 140 VA hospitals across the country. Medkinetics privileging will serve as a tool that will assist Veterans Affairs Hospitals in developing standardized privileges.

The Medkinetics SaaS (Software as a Service) platform is intended to be deployed quickly and with very minimal cost. "We hope to have all the VA hospitals using the system within weeks," said Patrick Birmingham, Vice President, Medkinetics. "Our continuously updated, researched and pre-loaded privilege information will save the VA hospitals thousands of hours of independent effort and help them reach their goals in a fraction of the time ordinarily needed," Birmingham added.
