The nurse’s compassionate approach helped ease both Ben’s and his wife’s anxiety, creating a comforting environment during a challenging time. By building a personal connection, the nurses were able to provide not only world-class medical care but emotional support as well. The team’s empathy and collaboration were key to ensuring the family felt secure and cared for. Ben’s gratitude led to the nomination of the team for a DAISY Award, recognizing the profound difference made in his life.
