This report evaluates whether full-text clinical studies and clinical practice guidelines and position statements support the use of voretigene neparvovec-rzyl (Luxturna; Spark Therapeutics Inc.) for the treatment of biallelic retinal pigment epithelium-specific protein 65 kilodaltons (RPE65) gene mutation-associated inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs).
