HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certification validates symplr’s commitment to cybersecurity, compliance and protecting sensitive data
HOUSTON, TX – June 26, 2023 – symplr®, the leader in enterprise healthcare operations software, announced that three SaaS products have earned certified status by HITRUST for information security, two of which are recertifications. HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified status demonstrates that symplr Payer, symplr Contract, and symplr Clinical Communications have met demanding regulatory compliance and industry-defined requirements, considered the gold standard for security certification. This achievement puts symplr in an elite group of healthcare software organizations worldwide that have earned this certification for the highest level of protection for customers.
The HITRUST certifications of three symplr software solutions represent an additional milestone in symplr’s continuous journey to achieve the highest caliber of security assurances for customers including renewals of symplr Payer and symplr Clinical Communications HITRUST certifications. symplr has also received System and Organization Controls (SOC) attestation reports including SOC 2 Type II for symplr Clinical Communications, and SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports for symplr Talent Management.
